If you are interested in being a part of the Editorial Board or are a student in High School participating as a Junior Editor, complete the Editorial Board Interest Form.
The Editorial Board for Findings participates in the review of submissions that have been recommended for publishing through a peer review. Typically editors will receive about 15 to 20 submissions to review, but no more than 5 to 7 in a two week period. Editors are also asked to participate in a short virtual orientation prior to reviewing for the journal. In return, editors receive a small stipend.
If you have questions, please reach out to the GMRI team.
A Junior Editor is a current high school student that is interested in reviewing submissions for the upcoming volume of Findings from the Field. This is a great opportunity for someone with aspirations in science communications, publishing and editing, journalism, or any science field. Applicants must complete the Editorial Board Interest Form and provide a reference from a relevant teacher. After completion of all assigned reviews, Junior Editors will receive STEM/Community Science hours or a $150 stipend.
